Try these boozy teas this holiday season!

WHISKEY CHAI

This is one of our favorites. If you like the smooth taste of Whiskey and a spiced Chai tea, this cocktail is for you. Here’s what you’ll need.

Whiskey Chai is a delightful and warming cocktail perfect for the holiday season. It combines the comforting flavors of chai tea with the rich, smooth taste of whiskey. Here's how to make it:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of strong brewed Inland Iced Chai
  • 2 oz of your favorite whiskey (bourbon or rye work well)
  • 1/2 oz of honey or simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 oz of fresh lemon juice
  • Cinnamon stick and a lemon twist for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Start by brewing a strong cup of Chai tea. You can use loose-leaf Chai tea or tea bags. Let it steep for about 5 minutes.

  2. While the tea is still hot, stir in the honey or simple syrup to sweeten it. Adjust the sweetness to your liking.

  3. Allow the sweetened Chai tea to cool down to room temperature. You can speed up the process by placing it in the refrigerator.

  4. Once the tea has cooled, fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the whiskey and fresh lemon juice.

  5. Shake the cocktail shaker vigorously to chill the mixture.

  6. Strain the Chai tea into a glass filled with ice.

  7. Pour the chilled whiskey and lemon juice mixture over the Chai tea.

  8. Give it a gentle stir to combine the flavors.

  9. Garnish your Whiskey Chai with a cinnamon stick and a twist of lemon peel.

  10. Enjoy your cozy and boozy Whiskey Chai as you unwind during the holidays!

Feel free to adjust the whiskey and sweetener quantities to suit your taste preferences. This warming cocktail is perfect for sipping by the fireplace or sharing with friends and family during the festive season.
